Tattoo Appointments

The day has come to get that tattoo you’ve been thinking about for so long! But how to begin... hey, no sweat. Simply email me to let me know what you have in mind and from there we’ll schedule your consultation, get set with the deposit and choose the date to breathe life into your new tattoo.

Basic Consultation is your opportunity to talk directly with me to get your tattoo questions answered. The basic consultation is complimentary.

Design Consultation provides you the opportunity to work with me one to one to refine your specific design ideas and details prior to your tattoo application.  A deposit is required to schedule a Design consultation. The deposit is non-refundable and is credited from the final cost of your tattoo. Master Card, Visa, Pay Pal and cash are accepted.  Contact Awen to arrange your deposit when scheduling your design consultation.

Photo ID is REQUIRED to get a tattoo. That’s right, no exceptions.
Be sure to bring your I.D. to your appointment. Without your photo I.D. your appointment and your deposit will be forfeited.  Effective January 1, 2011 the State of Minnesota requires a minimum age of 18 in order to get a tattoo, regardless of parental consent.

Deposit Policy
Deposits are not refundable. The deposit amount is based upon the length of your appointment. Your deposit is credited to the final cost of your tattoo.  Master Card, Visa, Pay Pal and cash are accepted.  Contact Awen to arrange your deposit when scheduling your appointment.  Canceling or rescheduling your appointment with less than 72 hours notice may forfeit your deposit.  Art With a Point reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • I-94 East to the Hennepin/Lyndale exit
  • Go south on Lyndale Avenue
  • Continue to the intersection of West Lake Street and Lyndale Avenue South
  • Art With a Point is in the Calhoun Arts Building at 711 West Lake Street on the South West corner of Lake and Lyndale

    • From the East

  • I-94 West to the Hennepin/Lyndale exit
  • The exit splits - stay right to follow Lyndale
  • But prepare to turn left / south onto Lyndale Avenue
  • Go left (south) on Lyndale Avenue South
  • Continue to the intersection of West Lake street and Lyndale Avenue South
  • Art With a Point is in the Calhoun Arts Building at 711 West Lake Street on the South West corner of Lake and Lyndale

    • From the South

  • 35W North to the 31st/Lake Street exit
  • Turn left (west) on 31st Street
  • Continue one block past Lyndale Avenue to Aldrich Avenue
  • Turn right on Aldrich Avenue
  • Turn right onto West Lake Street
  • Art With a Point is in the Calhoun Arts Building at 711 West Lake Street on the South West corner of Lake and Lyndale

    • From the North

  • 35W South to 94 West
  • I-94 West to the Hennepin/Lyndale exit
  • The exit splits - stay to the right to follow Lyndale Avenue
  • But prepare to turn left (south) onto Lyndale Avenue
  • Go left (south) on Lyndale Avenue
  • Continue to the intersection of West Lake Street and Lyndale Avenue
  • Art With a Point is in the Calhoun Arts Building at 711 West Lake Street on the South West corner of Lake and Lyndale

    • From the Airport

  • 494 West to 35W North
  • 35W North to the 31st/Lake Street exit
  • Turn left (west) on 31st Street
  • Continue one block past Lyndale Avenue to Aldrich Avenue
  • Turn right on Aldrich Avenue
  • Turn right onto West Lake Street
  • Art With a Point is in the Calhoun Arts Building at 711 West Lake Street on the South West corner of Lake and Lyndale

    • Parking Information

    Free parking is available 1/2 block west on Aldrich Avenue, metered parking is available in front of the building, and indoor (for a fee) parking is available at the northeast corner of Aldrich Avenue and West Lake Street.
