Art With a Point’s Vaccination Policy
All tattoo appointments require either proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination – preferably including the booster – or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the prior 72 hours.
What forms of proof are accepted?
Proof of vaccination may include a physical CDC vaccination card or a clear digital image of a CDC vaccination card. The card must be completed showing a full course of vaccinations – preferably including a booster – and the card must match the client’s ID. Allow a minimum of 14 days between your most recent shot and your tattoo appointment so that those antibodies can focus on kicking COVID butt.
Proof of a negative COVID-19 test may be a printed or digital test result that matches the client’s ID.
What if I am not vaccinated?
At Art With a Point, health and safety come first. For that reason we strongly encourage vaccination. Individuals who are unvaccinated may provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to their appointment and a state issued photo ID.
Do I still need to wear a mask?
Yes – everyone is required to mask your mugs for the duration of your time in the studio.
Why is this protocol necessary?
This protocol is one more tool to help ensure the safety of our clients and our artists. We are aware that these requirements do not eliminate the possibility of transmission of COVID-19 and its variants. No one single protocol will. However, layering multiple protocols – particularly vaccination, testing and masking – is proven to reduce transmission of COVID-19.
Where can I get a COVID-19 test?
