I’ve had a lifelong interest in tattooing and first approached Awen about an Apprenticeship in 2015. Determination, persistence and professionalism paid off because after two years of conversations, I had the opportunity to begin – and complete – a traditional Apprenticeship with Awen. I enjoy tattooing full time and am very grateful to be working with such a talented artist.

I have a bachelors degree in graphic design from the Art Institutes International Minnesota. I have also been involved with street art and art shows since 2010.

While I enjoy working in various styles, my original inspirations in tattooing are American and Japanese traditional styles. The bold lines and solid colors typical in these styles make for a very dynamic and long lasting tattoo. This history and tradition is something I view as an honor to preserve and carry on. As the old saying goes, “Bold will hold!”

Additional concepts that peak my creative interest include: floral, blackwork, script, and black and grey. While I have fun with most anything, styles that aren’t a great fit with my interests are: extensive geometric projects, photo realism, and watercolor.

When I’m not tattooing you might find me at a metal show, hanging out with my dogs Bruno and Martini or getting sucked into reality tv dating shows by my fiancé Alex.
