Tattooing Health and Safety

Spending this snowy Monday training tattoo artists from the Twin Cities and across Minnesota, as well as MN health officials in the Prevention of Disease Transmission in Tattooing. How dedicated are professional tattooists to health and safety? Every person pre registered made it through the snowstorm – two drove three hours in the storm – plus thirteen more registered at the door.

Proud to be a part of a freaking awesome industry!

Best. Tattoo. Ever.

This is one of my all time favorite tattoos! Pony Bunyan and Babe! There’s nothing more awesome than a whimsical sense of humor, and a tattoo concept customized to reflect the wearer.
 
 Pony Bunyan was originally done at the Safe Schools for ALL Youth fundraiser that I held. Several tattoo shops around the country did similar events. In this context, those of us sporting the MLP tattoos are doing so in solidarity with youth facing adversity based on who they are or what they like.
 
 We say, be yourself!

Minneapolis Tattoo Arts Convention

Hung out at the Minneapolis Tattoo Arts Convention this afternoon. Ran into Serena Rose and the Enigma… Took a fun family pic with the whole crew (and Enigma.).. Saw a bunch of friends including Shahn Anderson and Dan Dittmer from Electric Dragonland and Jacqueline Beach from Black Lotus Tattoo, ran into a few clients including LeAnn Kyro Oliver – And picked up this awesome t-shirt!
