Old World Celtic

Here’s a tattoo flashback… Michael’s Celtic half sleeve honoring Brian Boru and Michael’s own piping! The weathered wood texture was a nice addition to this piece, giving it an old world feel.

Batik style

This awesome piece was rendered closely from the batik original, which lends a natural feel to the overall design. Good times!

Cloud Cult inspiration

Love this project! Original painting by Connie Minowa of Cloud Cult!

And you can check out this fresh ink by checking out the band “Battery Boy” (with Shannon Frid, violinist for Cloud Cult) at their CD release party on Saturday, 6/21 at 10:30pm at the Icehouse!

Power goes to Eleven

This bio mechanical piece started with a basic concept drawing. Once we laid down the outline, we went nuts with shading for dimension and then texture to provide the *popping* contrast and motion.

All. Kinds. Of. Fun.

Bubblicious!

Here’s a portion of an extensive Blue Whale back piece.  We’re using the bubbles bring energy, texture and depth to the expanses of ocean blue.  Bubbles rock!
